Dignity Quilt

Going beyond the service...

Two local women from our community; Karin Barfknecht and Penni Hergert created a beautiful hand sewn "Dignity Quilt". This special quilt was designed with our community in mind. The bottom of the quilt represents the land and earth separated by the flowing waters of the Rum River which is beneath the starry sky. Many hours were spent sewing each square by hand; knowing how much joy and comfort it will bring to others.

Our quilt is placed over your loved one as we receive them into our care. We have seen and heard many comforting emotions that this quilt has brought to others; time after time. This special quilt not only represents dignity, but comfort and peace as well. This is just another way we go beyond the service; way beyond.
