He was also active in SPAI (Screen Printing Association International).

Ivan loved fishing on his beloved Mille Lacs Lake, spending time with his family watching Vikings games, playing cribbage, golfing and joking around. He was a die-hard deer hunter, and hunted right up to the very end with his son Mike. Ivan also enjoyed turkey hunting and smelting up near Duluth. He acquired his private pilot’s license and loved traveling the world. Ivan was a smart, witty, and loveable man, a jokester and a kid at heart.
